In 2001, with the assistance of Mitsubishi, the company's founders researched market and explored the factual demand to set up a dedicated elevator company for purpose of making Mitsubishi elevators approachable to customers in Vietnam. On May 17th 2001, Thang Long Elevator & Equipment Co., Ltd was born and then quickly became the most prestigious elevator/escalatoer supplier in Vietnam.

In the early days, in spite of a lot of difficulties in both human resouces and finance, Thang Long Elevator & Equipment Co., Ltd grew up by self-reliance as well as the passion for work. Thanks to the perfect board of managers and experienced enthusiastic staff in elevator field, the company becomes a professional unit in supply, installation, warranty and maintenance for Mitsubishi elevators/escalators. Particularly, TLE Co., Ltd has been appointed by Mitsubishi to be their authorized distributor in Vietnam.

At first, only 20 members worked at Head Ofice - 118 Bui Thi Xuan Street - Hai Ba Trung - Hanoi. Within more than 7 operatig years, staff and workers of TLE have developed in both the quantity (up to now approximately 300 people) and the quality demonstrated by more and more specialized qualifications & ability of all company members. This is proved by installation/service quality ant the projects supplied by the company. In order to improve more and more their technical skills, their professional competence as well as to keep with the most advanced science and technology in the world, TLE Co., Ltd annually assigns staff to take part in training courses organized by Mitsubishi in Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, etc.

To make "Thang Long Mitsubishi" trademark closer to customers and satisfy customer's greater demand for elevator installation in different provinces/cities in Vietnam, the company has established the representative office in Ho Chi Minh City and will expand all over the national in near future.
